Sustainability in Manufacturing Lessons

Introduction:  

This is a series of design thinking lessons, created in collaboration with the USF College of Education Gus A. Stravos Center for Free Enterprise and Economic Education and support from the Coca-Cola Foundation, that are based off of interviews from industry panelists at the FLATE coordinated panel "Manufacturing Sustainability Superheroes" in May 2019. The panel connected nearly 40 secondary educators from across the central west coast of Florida and four industrial panelists to address issues and resolutions to sustainability in manufacturing. The industrial panelists that attended the panel were Jerrika Rice from The Mosaic Company, Patti Gander from the Manufacturing and Supply Chain Association in Polk County, Peter Cirak from Seal Dyanimcs, and Suzanne Alverez from C&S Printing and Packaging. You can access the interviews for each speaker in the links below.
